Join us in a self-guided farm residency during the season.

You are invited to come for a week this season to explore the farm through a self-guided residency. Writing, drawing, reading, thinking, engaging, escaping, hiking, floral designing, foraging, painting, ceramics, cooking, baking, knitting, weaving, spinning and sleeping are some activities that come to mind as we offer this space to our community to share.

There are three bedrooms available and two cabins at a time. Cabins are equipped with outhouses and all residents will have access to the main barn with two bathrooms, one shower room and a large communal kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with staples (butter, oils, vinegars, beans, grains, flours, eggs, etc) and residents will cook and clean for themselves. Communal eating is encouraged but not required.

This is not a solitary residency per se - we witness auspicious overlaps between residents and are encouraged that people of varying backgrounds and perspectives find common ground and odd collaborations here.

The self-guided residency program is supported by residnets through a weekly donation of $500. This donation helps maintain our operating budget for food, fuel, and staff throughout the season.

Residents will also be invited to contribute 4 hours of work per week if able. Work could include morning or afternoon animal chores (feeding the sheep and chickens), weeding in the greenhouse or flower fields, harvesting vegetables, etc. There are many ways to contribute regardless or physical ability.
