Learn with wilderness educator, yoga therapist, leadership coach, and embodied creativity practitioner Allie Middleton.
Discover the magic within and around you during a transformative two-hour workshop at Worlds End Farm. Led by Allie Middleton, a wilderness educator, yoga therapist, leadership coach, and embodied creativity practitioner, this unique experience blends nature-based embodied yoga, reflective scribing, intuitive art-making, and conscious dialogue.
WHAT TO EXPECT
- - Embodied Yoga in Nature: Begin with gentle, mindful yoga practices that root you in the present and deepen your connection to the natural world.
- - Reflective Scribing: Capture your reflections and insights through scribing, a practice that turns thoughts into expressive and meaningful visuals.
- - Intuitive Art Making: Embrace your creativity as you engage in art-making using natural materials, guided by your intuition and the inspiration around you.
- - Conscious Dialogue: Share and connect through facilitated conversations, fostering a deeper sense of community and collective awareness.
Immerse yourself in this holistic journey where movements, mark-making, and spoken words intertwine, awakening your inner wild and enhancing your creative potential. Allie will introduce principles of embodied creativity and ecopsychology to help you tap into new experiences and inspirations.
No prior experience in yoga, writing, or art-making is necessary. This workshop is designed to meet you where you are and guide you towards a more embodied, creative, and nature-connected way of being. Fun from all our open hearts is the secret sauce!
Simple materials for scribing and art making will be provided; bring your own and share! Bring a journal and a sacred object. Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for gentle movement and bring a yoga mat if you have one (some mats will be available). Bring shoes for outside walking.
You’ll receive a signed copy of Allie’s first collection of poetry, A Wayfinders Wanderings as well as your own drawing and a photo the collective sculpture. If you’re game, you’ll also get a video of something that you’ve created and your spoken word poetry describing it.
